Hi Chicago22, Oh sure, I've gotten many sore throats that started on one side. Sounds like you have a cold coming on and nothing more. Take care of yourself and leave that worry behind you. Your body needs full cooperation right now in fighting the cold germ. Feel better soon :) xx

Yep that happened to me don’t freak out literally when we get worked up idk why but it affects our throats our head that’s why we feel head tensions or pressure in our head our body aches in different places we feel little small sharp pains like it affects you a lot physically which freaks us out more i literally was about to go to the doctor thinking i was dying and i came up here and read that every way i was feeling other people were so i said you know what im gonna just try to change my thoughts i still would like to go to the doctors to get something if i get worked up again i know it’s anxiety like 3 years ago i had my first panic attack...so don’t worry i had the same thing just take some medicine and keep your stress level DOWN or you will make yourself feel something else and worry again

It could be a cold or just simply allergies. Try not to assume the worst. Try some hot tea with honey. That can be very soothing. One side is normal. If you are on medications and or suffering from anxiety make sure you talk to a pharmacist when choosing cold medicine as many of them cause jittery feelings and increased heart rate or can interact with meds. I’d start with the hot tea and honey.
