Nothing

You might not be getting enough sleep or maybe change your diet. Eat healthier if you aren't already. Maybe some vitamin supplements if you wake up feeling weak. If you wake up constantly in the middle of the night that could be it as well.

The problem with all the stress in the world today is no one trusts anyone anymore 20yrs ago you hardly ever heard the word stress we have to get back to believing in ourselves 1st that's when things will change

Pontiac, sometimes early morning anxiety is caused by the fact that the fight or flight hormone Cortisol is at its peak at 8 am, but our bodies don't do fight or flight at 8 am anymore so the Cortisol just hangs around causing is to feel low on waking. The anti dote which in my opinion works is to immediately drink on waking a mug of strong Green Tea which contains L-theanine which lowers the Cortisol level. Just ordinary Green Tea bags will do, less than £$1 for 20 teabags in every supermarket. Got tobe worth a try, what's to lose?

Another morning waking up to bad thoughts how do you not think about them

Hi Pontiac1979, I use those thoughts as a positive approach to finding out what needs

to be balanced in my life. Thoughts and dreams can help us more than we think. Why do we dread the day. What's ahead for us in that we dread? Turning bad thoughts into good thoughts is using a positive approach. Taking inventory of your life, the good, the bad and the ugly :) What can be changed and what needs to be accepted.

Life is not easy, but we can learn from it each and every day. It's okay to think about things as long as they don't overtake your life each and every day.

I hope in coming to the forum you may not feel so all alone with your thoughts and feelings. Keep an open mind when reading other's responses. Take with you what may help and discard the rest. Each day is a learning experience in making ourselves better as well as finding out what makes us tick. Take care...
