Hi! I went to the GI doctor today. He did not feel at this time I needed anymore scanning however he placed me on medication to help eliminate acid build up and also tested me for H-pylori.
I am very very very nervous! I don't know how I will react if it is positive.

H-pylori is very common, in fact 1 in 3 people have it in their stomach but usually causes no problems. I believe the cure is a course of antibiotics for 2-3 weeks. In the scheme of things, nothing too drastic if the test returns a positive result.
As part of my mental health plan, I am working with a psychologist to reduce my anxiety levels Hopefully my GI problems, mainly constipation and heartburn will reduce or be gone altogether. I can only hope!
Thank you everyone. Yes he seemed to be very relaxed about the whole thing. I have already had an internal ultrasound, complete enzyme check with CBC, and a CT scan with contrast of my abdomen and pelvic region.
So this is my next step! He thinks I have Disepsia
