Hi Luzcristy, I was thinking too that it could be from the virus. When the body is fighting a virus, it's working hard to get you better. In the past, I've ended up in the ER with a high heart rate 180's. I asked if I could take just a 0.25mg of Xanax that I had with me. Within 15 minutes I was in Normal Sinus Rhythm and was released. Of course I wasn't sick but it was all anxiety caused. Just something to be aware of... Feel better soon.

Just went through worst and longest flu ever, 5 weeks! The virus caused an unusual heart beat, high blood pressure and high heart rate. All this while just resting at home. So yes, the virus can be the cause as the body is fighting infection.
