Hi Keri

So you have been under Camhs & now you are no longer seeing them & its been a couple of weeks since you last did ?

I was just wondering if maybe you could be feeling panicky & as if you are loosing control because while you had your appointments with Camhs it is like any kind of therapy & becomes sort of a safety net for us & now you no longer have that & subconsciously this could be in the back of your mind causing you to start to go in panic mode

It may not be the reason was just a thought as to what could be happening

If you feel you are not coping could you contact Camhs & let them no or maybe go & see your GP & tell them how you are feeling

Keep talking on here as well as you will not feel alone & that can help to :-)

Hope you are feeling a bit better now :-)

Love

Dear keri,

hope you are feeling better than earlier. Does taking deep breaths help at all or some people find that camomille tea helps. If this continues it might be an idea to go and see your GP.

Hello KeriLouise,

It ok to feel that panic, it part of the change you are experience. Because your regular routine structure has been taken out. Therefore you are likely to feel lost and panic. If you need extra therapy you can ask your GP or there are many of the local charity who provide support in your local area , whiles wait for the GP to referee you back, for further support. You are not along in this. I got panicked when suddenly CAMHS was no longer there. See if you can take that time and or that hour which you use to go to CAMHS on a regular bases and go to a place which you enjoy the view or the surround area. To help you relax and bring that feeling back to having that time to yourself as you did at CAMHS, where you feel safe and relaxed, where you are not doing nothing but just sitting with your feelings and thoughts. It may feel strange at first but give yourself some time and space to be with yourself and just do nothing for that hour and more, you can take a pen and paper and write you thought down if you like. Then you can either throw that paper in the bin or take it home with you. A little like leaving that uncomfortable irritation, and frustration that you leave at CAMHS.

Any way see what helps you, as you are best judge of what you feel and how you want to manage them.
