I love this theory of Neuroplasticity. Our minds have elasticity, the state or quality of being elastic, with flexibility, resilience, adaptability, and the power to resist or overcome depression.

I have been told that negative patterns are like wagon ruts in a road that, with repetition, make you have the same thoughts repeatedly. But by choosing positive thoughts, you can create new wagon furrows over the old ones, and by continuing to do this, deepen the new grooves. While it takes practice, our brains can be rewired this way! 🛞🛤️

Hey gerrerd, learning never stops...now that I've rewired my brain, I am taking

on something more tangible today. Rewiring the switch on a small table lamp.

i m not able to chnage my rewiring as i have made a big mistake of choosing wrong profession and not able to learn new things in this profession. i wish i were dead

I understand your wish. I’m still struggling with the same. I chose the wrong life mate and stayed anyway for almost forty years. I had big plans for a profession but couldn’t follow through because of physical and mental health issues. I started a new profession at 58 with no skills because I had to support myself. Starting over has been hard but it’s better than staying where I was. Hope you find a good alternative.

Thank you for the good wishes and for your concern. My sons and daughter would have taken care of me if needed. I live in a basement house under my mom’s house so I don’t have all the normal expenses. I was able to find a job as a caregiver for the elderly and am able to work enough to support myself right now. Having a job and being able to be independent has been good for me. It has given me self confidence as well as a purpose for living. It has been one of the best things about living my new life. The hardest has been not having the time or health to travel to see my kids as often as I used to and they’re not able to travel here much either because of their jobs. I’m going to therapy and it’s helping me to ‘rewire’ so things are getting better. I hope you find a good solution to your job situation.
