TMS Therapy?

Have any of you ever tried TMS therapy? I heard about it for the first time yesterday from my support group. The lady who shared said that it helped her a lot. I just wondered if anyone else has tried it and what they experience was like.

I did a bunch of sessions and it seemed to help. I'll try anything though. It is supposed to have long lasting affects. I was in a really bad place before TMS and now I am doing much better.

I don't think so. Some people experience a very mild headache, but I didn't.

I did it- the original 30 sessions anyway. They offered a follow up set of sessions but I declined. Didn't end up helping me but also didn't make things worse like other modalities I've tried. I know two other people who felt it helped them significantly so I don't try to dissuade anyone from it. I just offer my honest reply because it was hyped up SO much for me by the person who suggested it that I felt a big let down when I didn't feel any different.

The snapping sensation on my head was odd, but not painful. I felt really sleepy after sessions, but I can't say that was specifically from the sessions or not. It was a bit loud but I'm also noise sensitive even when wearing earplugs so I know others don't feel that discomfort.

If you decide to go for it, I hope you get to be one of the people who finds it to be successful.

I'm interested in trying that too. Tired of all these psyche meds that just don't seem to help much anymore.
