I agree with your post. I just developed PTSD after my dog and I were attacked by a pit bull and my fur baby passed away the following evening. I still have physical scars that have not healed but the emotional scars are worse. Now I have to be tested for COVID sometime this week. And yes, anxiety can and does become worse if it's already present, due to PTSD.
