Natural antidepressant GABA

Has anyone tried a natural anti anxiety-depressant called GABA?

Yes I took too much of it to treat autoimmune eczema on top of that I took CBD hemp oil which resulted in serotonin syndrome and major deppression

GABA is good in appropriate doses

GABA is an inhibitory substance it puts the brake on over active nurotransmitters it is in the serotonin category

Polar opposite of serotonin is dopamine serotonin calms you down dopamine pumps you up

When GP s prescribe SSRI ( selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) drugs they do it with no knowledge of the patients serotonin levels

GABA is good just don't ovetdo It

Thank you, that's very helpful. I can't seem to get on with SSRIs too many side effects.

GABA is going to the source itself rather than big pharma s concoction of it as in SSRI drugs but even though GABA is natural too much can be dangerous
