Hi All travelling tomorrow 28 July 2019, on a 09-25 flight to Singapore from London, which is 13 1/2 hours. I have Clexane inj 4ml p/f syringe what time should I injet tonight? We are in Singapore till 1st August, flight is 18-40 that evening travelling to Wellington New Zealand, I know I have to injet my second injection the night before as well.

Thank you for this valuable information, because they said the night before but not a time, I have been advised to take it because I am in a wheelchair, and had a clot 2006. Are you taking it all the time or just when you fly?

No only when my INR is less than 3.0 and before a flight, I am on warfarin and test my own blood which saves a lot of hassle, my range is 3-4 as I have sticky blood, causing pregnancy losses and heart attack and Dvt.

I have done this flight Singapore is lovely, stayed a few days then on to Austraila, holiday of a life time well worth the long flight enjoy

I haven’t been on warfarin since 2014, so I am wondering if I should take it tonight because you have got some cover already by taking warfarin.

If it were me I would take just before the flight, you are going to continue on the Warfarin as well Aren't you, which should keep you stable the Clexane is just an added extra to protect you during your flight.
