Yes I too get terrible cramp. Quinine does not work and is no longer in tonic water. Try diazepam as soon as cramp starts and try deep freeze - spray or cream.

I am on Apixaban too, but the cramps that I do suffer are no worse than they were before. If in a position to do so, I find that corks relieve the pain quickly. Mostly I use them at night, positioned in contact with the affected area.

I had bad cramp while taking Apixaban. If you haven’t had blood tests recently, I suggest you ask your GP to do them, looking for any deficiencies. Apixaban over time depleted my Folic Acid and Vitamin D and once i started taking a prescribed short course of these (not over the counter as they are not high enough concentrations to make up the shortfall) the cramps went. It also helped the slightly light headed feelings I was having too.

No I was told no

Nuisance I know

Stop drinking diet tonic water. It no longer contains quinine so no benefit. I find drinking more water helps and deep freeze relieves the pain.

On Riveroxaban with cramps in feet and ankles at night. discovered something called Palmitoylethanolamide which claims to have no interactions with medications as it is naturally occurring in body and in egg yolks. Costs about £40 a month. Look on line for different suppliers.

I have terrible cramp

. My toes get stuck .

I cry . I purchased something of Amazon called Cramp , does help, but it’s getting it sprayed on, when muscles get stuck . Also pins and needles . I feel for anyone who has this

I am lucky, middle of the night trip and a small glass of tonic water does the job. That's ordinary tonic full strength............whatever that is.
