Warfarin with Cannabis oil.

Has anyone taken Cannabis oil whilst on Warfarin. How was the interaction with the two drugs. ??

I am considering taking Cannabis to help with some chronic stomach pain.

Diagnosed with a few diverticular, & a possible trapped nerve. I self test my INR, so I will be able to keep a close watch on it.

I´m interested to know too as have mates who say it helps with arthritis relief. If you self test why not try it anyway?

Large amounts of CBD can interfere with the cytochrome p450 enzyme group. Like grapefruit warnings on medications.

Dr's and pharmacists cannot guarantee anything with the interaction risk. I am on Eliquis and CBD, low dosage, and so far no issues. I have to say as well, the CBD is not helping with my chronic pain issues at all.

I think it also depends on the type of blood thinner you are on. Eliquis does not impact INR, so you can't even test your inr to see if it's effecting the Eliquis.

with diverticulitis you want to remove the cause of pain: inflamation. so get rid of processed foods and eat plenty of soluble vegetable fibre.
