Travelling with a dvt
You are 20mg up on anyone who isn't taking anticoagulants and don't know they are a DVT risk. That makes you nearly as safe as the Captain!
Hi there. I had my second PE in Jan. I too am on Xarelto. Just flown to Cambodia from UK and now back in Bangkok for 5 days before flying back. No problems so far. Got all clear from doctor to fly, wore socks, exercised and took plenty of water. Everyone is different tho so my advice is get agreement from doctor first - puts your mind at rest.
Hi
I had cvst ( blood clot on the brain - which remains partly there) but have travelled extensively since ( Uk to SAfrica,Russia,China,India ). Latest trip was without anti coagulation but was told was as safe as "normal" population but to be sensible, wear compression socks and keep moving / well hydrated.
Take medical advice but enjoy !
I'm on warfarin and have been for 4 years. I travel regularly 8+ hours to Uganda. I would just say be sensible, flight socks, water and exercise
Ya you are definitely safe from a dvt on blood thinners...of all the worries you can have travelling your clots should be the least of them 😊
