Welcome.where are you from and do you have APS? I don't understand why you think you are going to clot "more" whilst on anticoagulant(s)? Try to keep yourself well-hydrated and exercise as much as doc says you are permitted. Take warfarin as prescribed and do INRS often. If INR isn't in range you may have to try different meds. I don't want to add anything more until I understand your question. Beware, Should you develop any chest, back or stomach pain seek emergency treatment right away.

You can't get another clot whilst on Warfarin. Due to go for weeky blood tests? Those tests go off your blood levels so you get your weekly doses of Warfrin, thus making sure your blood isn't too high or too low to produce anymore clots :)

I don't think much can be done once you're subscribed for the rest of your life. But there is no harm in loosing weight. Miracle's do happen and you've got to be very motivated. Join a gym and Slimming World, I have!

But no, it's highly unlikely that if your bloods are in range that you'll have another clot :) if you're finding yourself getting up set or anxious over the thought, it may be worth speaking to a doctor as I was diagnosed with PTSD after my clot x

Other replies provide good information BUT you CAN have a clot while on warfarin (coumadin). I did with the caveat that while my normal INR range at that time was 2.0-3.0, when I realized I had a clot and went to the emergancy room my INR was 1.8. This indicates why maintaining a level or constant INR is so important.
