hi :)

How is everyone doing? I'm good at the moment, haven't been online or posted for a while so thought I'd send my love to everyone!

Hi I was doing ok... had a knock back now. Been off work since Dec with dvt in leg and clots on lungs. My Hrt tablets were stopped and they started me on rivaroxaban. It's took ages to start to feel better. Then yesterday went to occupational health doctor at work when he found an irregular pulse..... I was sent to A and E they did bloods and ecg which has resulted in them referring me to see cardiologist. I'm seeing my heamatologist anyway today for my first appointment got lots of questions for him!!! Hope everybody else ok x

He was fab. I've got to stay on rivaroxaban for life due to unknown cause for dvt and clots. They not taking the chance I will get more! Oh well rather stay on it than get more. They taken me off propanalol and put me on bisoprolol due to palpitations getting worse and still short of breath. They also referred me to cardiologist. Hope your ok

Hope your doing ok. I've never had to worry about this inr thingy cos I'm on rivaroxaban which is the new type of warfarin.

Hi ...thanks. I've asked about warfarin alternative but was told not suitable for my condition as the effects are non reversible in case of any emergency.

Have a good weekend :-)

Ya I love warfarin as clumsy as I am its good to know that vitamin K can kick in in an emergency lol for real

Yep - I'd rather know that this is possible - particularly as my DVT is in the brain and when I was first out of hospital I wasn't even well enough to be responsible for my own medication.... Onwards !! :-)

Yes, I was told the same , so much prefer to stay on the  'tried & true' warfarin and the INR finger tests are effortless and my security.
