Hi higgy52,sorry about the a/f

When I first experienced a/f I was put on a digoxin drip for 3 days and then I resumed normal, sinus rhythm again. Some while later it occurred again and I asked the same question but was advised that reversion back to a/f after medication or cardioversion was common in more than 50% of cases. I don't think you have much to lose by trying again but don't hold up too high expectations of it being permanent. If you are stuck with a/f however make sure that you get on good anticoagulation medication to minimise the risk of an eventual stroke. All the best and do let us know how you get on.
