Sorry I did not see your post about stories regarding hip fractures. I am a success story as I have prevented a hip fracture. I just sent a lengthy reply to a member asking about Forteo, and I explained the regiment, length of time , the ,increase in my bone density WHERE I needed. Of course, I walk with my service dog, try to eat healthily, etc. also which I didn't include in my response, a that is a given. Also explained how Eli Lilly will help provide Forteo and the needles gratis or have their insurance experts work with one's insurance to get the cost of the Forteo covered. Many people do not know we can research and find answers and approach pharmaceutical corporations when our doctors have not tried.
