I'm new and fighting the worst stomach ache. My mom's Alzheimer's is getting worse.

My mom's behavior is becoming belligerent. How do I take a 95 year old across town to the ER for an psych assessment? The bumps and jerks of driving hurt, and time waiting for the assessment is extremely painful and exhausting. With all of our technology, couldn't we at least Skype, face time or home visit. What do others do in this kind of situation?

I am in the same situation...unable to get my dad to the medical office. Through my father's primary care physician, I have arranged for palliative care. So in this case his doctor and I have video appointments through their secure website. It is the absolute best way to manage his health. If necessary the doctor, nurse, or lab tech will to our home.
