Hello I am new

Hello all. I am trying to help my mother out on trying find out info or anything that would help her with my dad who has Alzheimer. I know that I can only do so much being away from them because of work and all but I do my best that I can to help out when they need me.

How old are you and how old are your parent? Are they both in good physical health? I was in my early 50s when may father died suddenly. He had been had been caring for my mother who had Alzheimer's, They were both 80.

My parents live in Weatherford, TX and it is very hard for them to travel to DFW. Also, I am 30. My dad is 80 and mom is 73.

If I may make a suggestion. Go to YouTube and look up Peeka Snow. This lady is an amazing Alzheimer's expert. She can teach you so many ways of caring for your loved one. You will be surprised at my how you will learn from her videos. My best to you.
