I am 67 and have recently started taking a Biophosponate to,help with osteoporis. I was warned that I might lose my hair and this is really starting to happen. I am devastated and have already made an appointment with a wig specialist.

I am too old and too cowardly to embrace a bald me!

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced hair loss as a result of taking this type of medication. Would also appreciate some suggestions about coming to terms with this new me.

With thanks

I also have osteoporosis. I was offered several different types of medication for it. Maybe your consultant could change your treatment if you asked.
