stress itch

my stress is so bad I nearly cut my legs off last night, the itching on both shins is horrendous despite all the creams and holistic stuff, keeps me awake most of night, worst last 3 nights. Used to get it over 12 years ago before I had MECFS & Fibromyalgia sometimes but nowhere near as bad & we put it down then to stress.

I have been experienced extra stress last couple of weeks

Hi arnie, nice to meet you :) I've been reading your bio and boy have you been through the wringer. I am sorry to hear your suffering with that horrible itching. Did your GP say it was down to stress? It sounds a little like my hubby suffers with but he was told his is phlebitis. I'm not saying this is what you have. But I do know it causes my hubby to want to itch is leg raw when it flares up. His GP gave him some cream that really helps.

Maybe its time to have another word with your GP. It's horrendous to say the least when itching gets so bad.

Phlebitis Symptoms. There is usually a slow onset of a tender red area along the superficial veins on the skin. ... The skin around the vein may be itchy and swollen. Just a thought.

I do hope you can find some relief soon. In the mean time I would leave the legs exposed and place cool cloths to try and help calm the itch/ inflamtion.

Hi Mo you to thanks. I have no rash or marks only a few scratches from myself so I don't think it could be that. Best cream I've used but I'm not certain it stopped it is rescue cream from Bach, itch has calmed since 3 applications, fingers crossed

Hi arnie, 🤞🤞you've found something to cool it down. Maybe have a word with your pharmacist about it :)
