Is anyone on flecainide? I've been on it for over three years.

I've been on this drug for the last three years and it seems to agree with me. I had a cardioversion two years ago and have not had a bad AF since. One attack when my heart was settlling down which stopped when I took an extra tablet, I'm on the lowest dose. Before the cardioversion I had been in permanent AF for 1 year it wasn't good. I have very high BP but can't find drug that doesn't have very bad side effects. Glad I joined this site it's good to know ones not alone

Congratulations Terjo - I was immediately put onto Flecanide following an ablation 4years ago - it was a nightmare. At times just felt as though every ounce of life was draining away from me. The Cardiologist was really brilliant at this time he monitored me through this rough time and found out Amiodarone was well suited to me.

Thank you for the reply.

So sorry to hear it didn't work for you I've had lots of reactions like that to other drugs. I went see a specialist about an ablation and he put me on flecainide which I was on for a year before the cardioversion .
