i just got a new prescription for Rivaroxaban 20mg and they are 4 times the size I have always had. The maker is Zentiva. I am really worried its an error in production.

Has anyone else had them. I asked the pharmacist and they just take what is supplied. No help !!!

Just because the prescription is for 20mg doesn't mean that is the weight of the pill. That depends a lot on the manufacturing process. If the box says 20mg that is what you have!

I've had this issue. They are the same. Be aware there are other rivaroxiban out there, but they are all the same. Don't be thrown when you get the grey one. Phil

We have a strange thing here in South Africa. We always had Xarelto, then about 18 months ago it changed names for the African market to iXorolo - same pill same manufacturer, same packing - just the African name on the box, with it came a remarkable price reduction. However, the reduced price only lasted a few months !. Now it's back to its original price (more expensive than Eliquis) still called iXorolo, still the same Xarelto pill, same manufacturer. Bayer or Janssen must have had a 'road to Damascus', Revelation and realised they had a captive market in South Africa and Namibia (that's whom it seems to be aimed at) and reverted to its original costing! At least it's still the same familiar little brick-red tablet !!!!!
