Taken toouch bisoporol

I have just mistakenly taken too much bisoporol. I take 5mg in the morning and 2.5 mg in the evening. Instead of taking my ramipril I mistakenly took another bisoporol 5 mg before bedtime. So that's 12.5 mg today. Has anyone else done this ? Bit worried as I want to go to sleep but scared to.

I can’t be sure, but I think you’ll be ok. Perhaps give your doctor a call for a quick chat.

Hi

10mg is normal but some folks have more routinely.

Your BP I'd watch. Also your H/rate may drop a bit.

I would ring POISONS and see what they say.

I'd skip the morning or take 1/2 - 2.5 mg morning.

I had a similar problem with Digoxin I had thrown the wrong box away as they halved my dose because it was working to well to say the least. But it was split to 2 per day! I called my GP practice and they just told me to stop the tablets and pick up a new prescription in the afternoon and restart the next day. I would ring GP just to make sure. I am sure it is not a major issue.

Nothing to fear! You'll be fine. Expect it to take a couple of days till your heart rate recovers to its usual speed. The rate will likely fall by half a dozen beats a minute or so. If you already have low BP, then it might drop it a touch more, so you could feel a touch light-headed, but I doubt it.

is not anyone on here that hasn’t messed up once or twice. When you have a procedure, your doctor will have you skip or change your not something you do on a regular basis. You should be fine. Does your doctor office offer an after hours doctor on call? I was just laying here one night and all of a sudden it felt like a horse kicked me in my heart thankfully I can make a call in the doctor on Will give me a call back. I have a pacemaker before that I had a loop recorder so they can check those remotely. Also, I only had two of those kicks. Everything was fine. Never figured out what caused it and it was before I had my pacemaker. No one is perfect. If you have someone you can call I would just so you can settle down and get some sleep.

I know it’s a bit late to say this now, but I would still ring the doctors office and ask them in case it happens again and it probably will someday

I have a perfectly lovely pill box and set it up for the month. Then my cat decided to come visit me across my nightstand and flipped it over several things opened and threw meds everywhere. Unfortunately, a couple of my meds look alike so yes, I messed up. That will teach me to fix things right away. I can no longer count on remembering to do everything it’s a fact of life.

Not what you're looking for?
