Switching from Flecainide 150mg to Multaq 400 mg

My EP is thinking of switching me from Flecainide 150 mg 2x day to Multaq 400 mg 2x day….. I am also on 150mg of Metoprolol Tartrate 2 x day for rate control….Is anyone on Multaq 400 mg & Metoprolol together? I have had two failed ablations and 10 Cardioversions since 2012….My last Cardioversion on 10/10/24 lasted about 3 weeks…. I have been in Afib since 10/30/24….Any advice will be greatly appreciated 💯❤️

BBs like Metopolol 156 bpm and pauses at night Bisoprolol 156bpm neither controlled my rapid h/rate. 24hr monitor proved and also night 47avg bpm over 3 x monitors.

No one cared sp Locum suggested a private man who was well known in the hospital before he went private.

Introduced CCB Calcium Channel Blocker Diltiazem 180mg CD AM. I had reduced Biso... to 5mg.

Within 2 hours H/R went down to 51. I watched and tested 2nd day.

So now I'm on Diltiazem 120mg for Rate Control

Biso... 1.25mg for BP control.

No Flex, no ablations, no cardioversions. ECHO shows a severely dilated Left Atrium. Hence structurally abnormal.

Why not check out a CCB.

The question is what is most important first..

1. Your Heart Rate avg Day and Night. via 24hr Heart Monitor

2. The Rhythm. Lots of unbearable symptoms.

or

1. Needs immediate control of your Heart Rate - under 100. -No operations can be performed unless an emergency.
