HR post ablation

Ablation 5 weeks ago. No flutter since just a few strange feelings which seem to be subsiding now.

Aim to get a bit fitter now I can cope with longer walks and inclines. My question is re HR. Today I walked more briskly and on checking HR when home it had gone up to 145.

Is this ok?

Sounds reasonable to me if you were pushing up a hill, at 5 weeks I would not push to the maximum yet as you can still be recovering for a year or so. I get 130-140 briskly walking up hills and my ablation was 11 months ago. My HR is still higher than before ablation but I have also stopped beta blocker since which was keeping it down to 110-120 for the same hill.

Best wishes
