Watch for AFib in background

I do use Apple Watch for that. But it works only with iOS devices. Is anything similar for Android - without need to record ECG?

The Apple Watch only looks for irregular heart rate in the background but it seems to work well. Are you thinking of giving up on Apple? My cousin uses Samsung but I always feel the Apple devices are better - that might just be me.

No, I need for my wife. She doesn’t like iPhones 🙂

I heard Samsung watch can do background check - but problem the same as with Apple, it works only with Galaxy phones.

Yes - nothing can check for AF unless two points of contact are made on different sides of the body so a watch can only check for heart rate changes and irregularities.

My wife was similar a few years ago but the smaller iPhone changed her mind and she wouldn’t now change back.
