does anyone take Solatol and amlodipine together? The Docter has just prescribed me for high blood pressure. Also is it best to take in the morning or night.
solatol with Amlodipine: does anyone... - Atrial Fibrillati...
solatol with Amlodipine
To the best of my knowledge both drugs are aimed at lowering blood pressure and will /may possibly lower heart rate. I take quite a range of drugs aimed at doing this, Ramipril, Felodipine and Sotalol. I do not take Amlodipine. That said, Sotalol is a beta blocker but does have some properties aimed at settling blood pressure.
On my GP's instructions, I have stopped the Ramipril for 8 weeks with the view to stopping a cough I've developed.
The other part of your question .... I take Ramipril and Felodopine in the mornings only and Sotalol morning and night. As to whats best is up to your GP ... he/she or maybe a Pharmacist - is best qualified to answer that !
You'll get a more authoratitive answer by going on NHS website and doing a search on your drugs.
I take sotalol and amolopidine too, I take one sotalol in the morning and one sotalol with amolopidine at night time, but doctors says it doesn’t matter when I take my amalopidine , but I take mine at the night for peace of mind
I take sotolol (twice a day) and amlodipine in the morning together with losartan, apixaban (also twice a day) and rosuvastatin.
