Hi

I have recently gone from Paroxymol AF to persistent af and feel breathless when walking longer distances and generally tired most of the time. Is this the norm?

Hello

breathlessness and fatigue are amongst the most common symptoms of AF. Have you recently been prescribed new antiarrhythmic medication - such as a beta blocker? or had your existing dosage increased ? This will also have an effect on your energy levels until your body adjusts. If you find the symptoms are becoming more problematic and preventing you from going about your everyday activities, please seek medical advice.

Kind regards
