Please don’t call these gatherings coffee mornings when coffee is a not a good idea for those with AF! It is rather off putting!

Thank you for your feedback, which has been noted.

We appreciate that for patients with AF caffeine can be a trigger for an episode, in this situation we advise switching to decaffeinated tea and coffee, or other caffeine free options. You can find out more about healthy living, including which food and drinks it may be wise to avoid in our 'AF and You' booklet here: api.heartrhythmalliance.org...

I know that which is why I suggested omitting the word from your suggested gathering.

New studies suggest that coffee can be ok in moderation. I have actually had my AF regulate while having a cup of coffee. Again we are all different.

That’s interesting but I had stopped having coffee some time before I was diagnosed as I far prefer herbal teas!

No offense but I just can’t like tea. I have tried. I do like Roobios tea and that is about it. Love my coffee but I do limit myself to only 2 cups a day. Summer time its iced coffee in the afternoon.

What's in a name? I don't always drink tea during my teabreak. 😉
