Kardia 6L affected by humidity?

We have, unusually, had fairly high humidity for the last few days and I have been unable to get a reading on my Kardia 6L. I keep getting the message referencing "Electrical Interference". I have tried moving away from all electrical equipment, and even tried going outdoors. I feel perfectly fine, slightly elevated blood pressure, but considered within limits for my age, and previously had very little problem obtaining either a 1 lead, or 6 lead reading. Am seeing my GP soon, but curious if anyone else has had problems with getting readings in times of high humidity?

Have you tried wiping the plates and putting alcohol gel on your fingers? This can improve the connectivity. I have had that in the past and that seemed to work.

Thanks for this suggestion, I have tried wiping the plates, but not using an alcohol gel.

It's just as you say, as I have similar with my Apple Watch. It's the skin contact, rather than the device. You could try changing the battery, just in case. Strangely, my similar Wellue and Contact devices are unaffected.

The unit is quite new, and shows a good battery status. Thanks for the response.

I have experienced the same thing with my Kardia 6 . I would take a slightly damp towel and wipe the Kardia pads and make sure they are clean, and also your fingertips. I also make sure there is a good amount of distance between your phone and your Kardia. I usually take mine in my lazy boy recliner. I sit up straight and lay my phone on the arm of the chair and then put my Kardia on something flat like a book on my lap to take my reading. I would say about 18 inches apart would work. Make sure if you have an electric chair not to get your phone next to the controller. Hope this helps!
