I agree that NSAIDs should not be taken with anticoagulation. I'm not familiar with the drug you mention but an "ofen" sounds like an NSAID to me. These drugs aerealso contra indicated with AF as a cause. I suggest you discuss with your pharmacist as they aer experts in drugs.

I have been prescribed Oruvail which is another brand of Ketoprofen but in a gel. GP would not prescibe tablet form only the gel to be applied to affected joint area. I am also prescribed prescription strength parcetamol/codiene for joint pain, not as effective as NSAID's but the normal one if you are on anticoagulants, I too am on Xarelto. I have had no prblem with using the gel as it does not get into the blood stream. I think you should contact your GP ask why he has prescribed a NSAID when it is generally a not advised.
