Hi has anyone had to stop taking xarelto for a few days for any reason?

Yes 2days before my ablation

Yes - I had an operation on my tear duct and was told to stop for three days beforehand and three days afterwards.

Had a minor op and stopped it 2 days before hand. Began it again the next evening.

Yes on two occasions. Three days prior to an EPstudy and three weeks ago for three days prior to gall bladder surgery. No issues on either occasion.

ooh, how did the gallbladder op go? I'm on an urgent list to have mine removed. I must say it sounds much worse than an ablation!

yes, for my ablation and then for a colonoscopy . No problems

Yes I recently had a colonoscopy and endoscopy and the gastroenterologist said to stop it three days before and three days after. Was a little worried but. all went well and no problems
