To be certain you need some gizmo like the Kardia to read the beat. It sounds to me like regular post ablation blues, hopefully to settle down soon. If it soesn't best call the Af nurse or whover might help with support, which they should have given you details of. Nobody here can really say what the described beats are. I felt much the same after my ablation.
No one can tell if ectopics based on what you've written.
So you really have to decide. Do you really want to know what is going on two weeks post ablation, or do you want to just write it off as a blanking episode event and go about your life? Both have been suggested so far and both approaches are reasonable.
If you really want to know, I would get a Kardia type device and take an ekg of these types of events. But if you can just put then out of your mind for now and go about your business, then I wouldn't,
Only you know what kind of person you are.
Personally, I would want to know and that's why I have a Kardia and Apple Watch. I feel it gives me more control, leaves fewer questions unanswered and in the end produces less anxiety. But that's just me.
Oh Jim my Kardia is in a drawer somewhere I haven’t used it in years . I will ignore it as a blip. Isn’t it funny how heart aware you suddenly become. I will try to refrain doing sneaky pulse checks…. Feel
I have been getting the very same issue for a couple of months. In my case not after an ablation but many years of 200mgs Flecainide and tinkering around with supplements. I have booked an appointment in July to talk this through with my cardiologist as I like to have full info.
Sorry, appreciate this is not the 'Bob advice' but just another point of view.
On the positive side I have found humming loudly often stops the nonsense!
Yes you have to roll with the changes. I no longer have the fear of debilitating AF but the 'flutter' (not sure if it is) is just annoying. I have found keeping busy helps bolstered by less stress, breathing and humming. Also now I have started ACs the clot worry has been reduced.
