EP recommendation

Can anyone recommend an EP in the west lancs area please? I am looking for a second opinion. Currently under Liverpool heart and chest hospital as I live in Southport area . Happy with the hospital, just not the consultant .

Dr Derek Todd at LHCH. Same hospital but ask to transfer. I initially saw him 5 years ago privately at Warrington but straight away he transferred me to his NHS list for ablation. Sadly my ablations didn’t work but that’s how it goes for some people. He never mentioned once giving up apixaban. Have a 2 year review coming up in August.

Lovely bloke. Met him at our conference a few years ago and did a radio interview opposite him once but never been treated by him.

Totally recommend Dr Gwilym M Morris at Manchester Royal Infirmary Heart Centre. I had a really difficult ablation (Atrial flutter which was causing Atrial Fib ) and he did an excellent job for me and he’s a really nice person too who listens (which is also very important)

Thank you, great to have some names. So pleased he managed to help you and listen ! That is so important and many consultants seem to forget that fact .
