Amiodarone and thyroid

Hello,

Q for those on Amiodarone. My thyroid has gone from bad to worse and now my gp wants to see me. I’m guessing to put me on more medications. To those on thyroid meds, will I lose this thyroid weight I’ve gained?

My husband is on Amiodarone & now takes low dose Levothyroxine, no affect on weight.

I’m not on amioderone due to its affect on thyroid. I already have an underactive thyroid. They have lowered my thyroxine dose as think that was causing AF, I have much fewer episodes on less thyroxine but gaining weight that I can’t shift and fall asleep if sat relaxed not doing anything such as watching TV. Have they tried other meds, I was on Flecainide to control rhythm.
