dizzy spells in AF
I had dizzy spells many years ago when I got out of bed quickly in the mornings, now I always sit on the side of the bed for a few minutes before actually standing. Have had no problems since. Have never felt dizzy going from sitting to standing.

Yes, caused by BP in my boots. Take your time changing position, prone to sitting, sitting to standing, keep well hydrated & electrolytes - all helps.
This can be a side effect of beta blockers, was with me
I had dizzy spells with persistent whether on any meds or not. Obviously on standing was one trigger but sometimes moving my head quickly or a change in light or tiredness etc would trigger it. It was a very common experience and I kinda got used to it. Never fainted I'm pleased to say. But it got worse when HR was very high (over 120, definitely worse over 140 when it would feel a bit fainty) and obviously worse when BP low.
Have you checked your heart rate when this happens? Also, try taking your BP, too. which is (as others suggest) likely low.
It's an unpleasant feeling for sure and worth avoiding as a fall always remains possible.
