I was given digoxin for persistent atrial flutter and it was the only drug that helped. I wasn't aware of any side effects at all, but I wasn't taking it for long as an ablation was offered and I took that opportunity.

I'm not on that combo, however, I take digoxin with bisoprolol. No side effects at all. Been taking both drugs or around 7 years now. Am in permanent Afib, but am lucky enough to have no symptoms, touch wood.

Thank you so much for your reply. My issue is how I feel on Lopressor especially when II increase dose. Hoping to be able to wean off once Dig takes hold. When I stopped apruptly HR went to 162 and I really felt bad. I had said no to Ablation but now seriously considering it.
