Only when I very first started Bisoprolol 5mg back in January 2010. Nose bleeds too. I was originally prescribed it to be taken in the morning. I complained to my GP and she said take it at night. I did so, and I never ever had a nose bleed or the coldness thingy at all afterwards. I ended up staying with Bisoprolol until August 2023 when I switched to 3.75mg of Nebivolol - to be taken at night. The only reason I switched was because, ultimately the Bisoprolol made me feel like the Zombie from the Village of the Living Dead ! No sweat ( so far ) with Nebivolol.

My AF has again recently reared its ugly mug again and I'm back to the care of a Cardiac Consultant and he is about to switch me to Sotalol.

Before I had the Pace & Ablate procedure I was on 10mg of Nebivolol for my AF. Had tried most other BBs over the years and it was certainly the best for giving me no side effects. It is also treating high blood pressure and anxiety. I don't really need it now but the GP still prescribes a low dose now for the latter 2 conditions. A good drug for me but of course we are all different. Good luck with it and hope it works for you.

I was on it and didn't feel right at all, felt like my arms were falling asleep and my muscles in my legs hurt when walking and we walk everyday the weather permits. after a few blocks it felt like my heart wanted to burst out of jail. I tried a lower does and same feeling so I took myself off. I found eating a couple beets a day has kept my BP in a good range. So I will do that. so far so good. I see my doctor in July and I am sure she will not be pleased but it's my body and I am feeling good right now.

I feel my resting heart rate is good it’s between 64 and 68. Doctor said she wanted it at 55 i didn’t feel right. So I don’t think I need one.
