Normal ECG uses 12 leads. Many on chest and also each arm and ankle. Holter monitor only uses three of four on chest.
Thanks BobD why do they say Left is it because I have an enlarged left ventricle ??
12 Leads is a "normal" ekg. With the order as written, seems to suggest is they are going to change the placement of the leads for more investigation of the left side of the heart. It's also a good question to ask the doctor that ordered it.

I have never heard of it either. I know that two of the 12 ECG leads "view" the left side of the heart, so perhaps there is a way to be sure these are fitted to allow this to be done with extra clarity.
