I have just had a monitor fitted for 48 hours. The reason for this is after my cardioversion which only lasted about 2 hours I went back into afib. Howerver after about 4 days during the night while in bed I was in perfect sinus rythem. This lasted for about 2 weeks every night and the nurse could not understand what was going on as afib is normally worse during the night.
Anyway I do not go into sinus rythem every night now but still happening. The monitor they hope will maybe let them know what is going on. The strange thing also my bpm does not go high, even now it is 78bpm. No doubt if I did some exercise it would natualy go up a lot.
Last week I did some intense diy, drilling 12 holes above my head into hard concrete and I felt fine. No palpataions or high bpm,not out of breath or pains in heart but did feel tired so we shall see.
This holter is going to be a nightmare as I am sure leads are for a 6 foot 5 " person. The leads hang down halfway from my groin to my knee🫤🫤Not sure how I am going to sleep wearing it as if I turn over the leads may come off, still got work around it.
