I was started on 10mg Lercandipine in the mornings by my Cardiologist about a year ago. I also take 15mg Bisoprol, 2.5mg Indapamide and 40 mg Olmesartan together with 60mg Edoxaban in the morning and 8mg Doxazosin at night. A week ago he changed my Lercandipine dosage to 20mg and to take it in the evening rather than the morning. This was because a 24 hour blood pressure monitor showed my readings to be higher than normal especially at night. My readings taken for the last week are better but last night I had my second AFib episode during the night for the second time in a week.I am also on Prednisolone for Polymyalgia Rheumatica and my dosage has been reduced from 6mg per day to 5mg which should improve my BP.This has been since the 24hour BP monitor. Has anyone had such a reaction to Lercandipine where increasing the dosage and the timing has resulted in more AFib episodes?

Yes, is normal. But if you don't feel good, ask your doctor to reajust or change.
