Hi all Have started taking blood thinners for upcoming 2nd ablation next month and I seem to be reacting badly to them . My face is burning hot and timgly and I've become extremely sensitive to sun and changes temperature. I already tried edoxaban before apoxaban and same thing happened. Thing is if I stop the bloodthinner then I obviously can't have my ablation .
Shall I keep taking them or stop ... any thoughts?

I would go back to your GP and discuss or ring your EP and ensure a Yellow Card is completed . If you are reacting badly to them something else needs to be arranged as a matter of urgency so that your ablation can go ahead. There are other alternatives which are metabolised slightly differently so see what they say.
