I’ve been looking to buy a device that can do continuous monitoring to catch the pesky arrhythmias that my Kardia can’t (eg when I wake up in the night, or just short bursts in the day). I think the closest I can get is the Wellue 24 hour monitoring device, but it’s a big outlay, and I wondered if anyone could advise me on some things?
1. Does anyone use it with a Mac, and if so, does it work well (for the trace & analysis etc)? The info seems to be predominantly geared around PC use, and I don’t have a PC.
2. Can you use the monitoring for several 24 hour days per week if you need to? Or is it just for occasional use? I realise that after 24 hours I’d have to download the trace & data, and recharge the battery before using again.
3. Anything else I should know before I buy?!

I am also interested in the Wellue but have little info and can't help with your inquiries. Above are previous threads. I haven't yet had time to read.

I bought one recently but have only used a couple of times.1. I have Windows based PC, so can't help with Mac question. For anyone else interested I had problems using it with Windows 11. I have a Windows 10 PC too so just used that instead of seeing whether I could get going with Windows 11.
2. I bought for occasional use. Yes, you'll need to allow time for recharging and downloading data. It's not waterproof so can't easily use when swimming or showering either.
After removing you connect to PC and download data.
3. You have choice of attaching the device using a chest strap or using sticky patches (like ones used with 12 lead ecg). There's a small supply of those provided and you'll need to buy a lot more of you plan to use them for recording several days a week. It might also cause skin problems from repeated use over same area of skin.....
The strap worked fine for me.
I plan to produce several reports before I see my cardiologist for annual check up. I'll be asking him whether they are useful any issues they highlight and what if any I should keep an eye on. Until then I can't really comment on the usefulness of the reports it produces.
I have a Kardia 6L and Withings Scanwatch too. All have their own niche in monitiring my PAF. I wear my watch virtually all the time, so always there if I need to check any fluttering. I don't carry Kardia with me but use to check for AF and produce ecg when it's at hand. Wellue was acquired to tell me whether there are problems occurring that would otherwise go undetected - either because unsymtomatic or because I'm asleep and don't initiate any action to check for AF. The Wellue reports on some other irregularities too (rhythm and rate) but their usefulness or otherwise will depend on the user's own circumstances.
I've used my Wellue 24 hr quite a bit. I use the chest strap,.but I could see the benefits of using the stickers also as it might cut down on some of the artifacts when moving say in bed, tossing and turning, exercising...but overall the chest strap works great for me. I do have a PC so don't know about the Mac. I wear it for up to 24 hrs and upload and have it analyze the data. The battery has shown good life. My EP was pretty impressed with the report. Even better, there's a full ECG file for each recording also, which I imagine would be even more useful to the doc than the report format, but it's obviously an enormous size so most emails or portals are not going to accept it. But the Report gives a great breakdown overall and little ecg snippets of what it thinks are good examples of the findings. I'm 5 months out after my 2nd ablation, and been using the Wellue to get a better idea of how many PACs seem to be happening and maybe some clue as to why my heart rate climbs so quickly now, etc. So many mysteries.
I have a Kardia a long while also which is a great device..but like you say has the obvious limitations of manual readings at a point in time.
I have one, and it works just fine with a Mac. I have only used the chest strap so far, not the sticky patches, but that works well, even in bed. No issue with using it multiple times per week. It is very good at catching any arrythmia during the 24hours, even if its just a single ectopic beat, and giving you all the stats. In that regard, it is much more functional than an Apple Watch or Kardia. I am happy with mine.
