24-HOUR ECG RECORDER

Has anyone on here seen or used the 24-HOUR ECG RECORDER manufactured by Wellue.

Would really be interested as it would help with monitoring my overnight heart rate which can be a bit flaky but seems to be broadly under control with the 50mg x 2 Flecainide.

It would be nice to confirm that I am stable and let my consultant at Royal Papworth know that we are on the right track.

From archives. Let us know you experience if you get one. I'm interested.

Great monitor. I have also created some extra software to analyse data over time, to include what is eaten on a daily basis.

They look good and I am on my way to saving up for one!

I just got an email from Wellue saying they have a 10% discount in February

I see it’s £250 or so on eBay. The cost in dollars is almost the same as in sterling, these days.

mine cost just over £200 direct from Wellue (it’s priced in dollars though), which is a similar price being charged now on their website with the 10% discount. It’s not worth risking a few pounds in my opinion to use someone you are not sure about.

Thanks and I agree. I’m going to edit my post. I see it’s on eBay for £250 or so. The pound is now very low indeed against the dollar.

I’ve just managed to order it from Wellue getting a15% extra discount using the code “TICKS” So the code was under £180.00, not much more than my Kardia 6L.

I got one just before Xmas. Fantastic bit of kit. Works really well and is very comforting to see reports giving details by the hour and zoom in on events(PAC , PVC and SVT etc). I was really suffering before Xmas and the reports showed PACs and SVTs which have now subsided. I wear it a lot overnight as I’m getting symptoms that wake me up and you can’t monitor that on a Kardia easily. My bisoprolol was increased to 5mg last week and the reports showed the effect conclusively, really reassuring to know that I can monitor these things rather than really on an NHS system that can’t cope.

I think it would really help explain things to your consultant at the Papworth.

The Wellue knocks spots off a one lead Kardia and is relatively cheap.

I see it's reduced also on Amazon, but still pricey. The link I gave above seems to be the cheapest way to get it. The reviews of the company look worrying though!

Not with the NHS in the UK.

I got the O2 ring recently and when I tested it against the machine at the doc's office, it was no where near correct. Plus I had to set the settings high/low (O2 & HR) since it was waking me up every 10 minutes at night.

In trying to return it, I've had a lot of issues with the company including copy/paste of supposedly sent emails to me - liars since I never got those emails at all even double-checking spam. Plus they demand you send a picture of the device before you send it back - no clue why as they should be able to check that everything is in the box before refunding me. After having requested a return address perhaps a dozen times, it appears they want me to send it to another customer in the US - ugh! I guess I'll do that but I'm never doing business with them ever again.
