also sorry I forgot to add that I’ve done some ecg’s on my kardiamobile when I’ve had the missed beats and they’ve all said normal sinus rhythm I don’t subscribe to the advanced option just the regular one thank you
worried: also sorry I forgot to add... - Atrial Fibrillati...
worried
Without the advanced determinations option, Kardia will not mention ectopics, but they will be there in the ekg.
Jim
Thank you I’m thinking if it was something like vt or vf it would hopefully tell me even if I haven’t subscribed to the advanced part
Not medically trained, but when your Kardia says "normal sinus rhythm", it's ruling out vf and vt -- both of which are not normal rhythm. And actually neither of those two are part of the advanced determinations. From memory, the additional determinations are: tachycardia, bradycardia, normal rhythm with PACs or PVC's and Wide QRS.
Jim
Thank you Jim I didn’t realise that and the fact it’s ruling those out is very reassuring thank you
Jim I have a 6L Kardia and don't have the additional membership and it does diagnose Tachycardia.... as it has sadly done so on mine a few times. It basically just makes an assessment on lead 1. That's what it says. Lol. As I've sent my readings to my surgeon for his feedback I've not joined a more detailed analysis. It does seem expensive if you have to though
Just a little tip for future, if you need to add something to a previous post you can reply to your own post instead of creating a fresh post. Hope this is helpful.

Thank you that is very helpful I’m quite new to this and have only posted a couple of times but I’ll definitely remember for future posts
The Kardia Advance Determination might well label these but your GP would easily be able to tell whether they were from the atrium (PACs) or ventricles (PVCs) and whether they were of concern, which they usually are not. If you have had an echocardiogram, your doctor will be much better informed.

Hi
Only had missed beats with Metoprolol!
Changed to Bisoprolol and they stopped - at night when h/Rate isavg 47.
Take Diltiazem AM for rapid heart beat at last controlled on CCB Calcium Channel Blocker.

if you can save it and send to your doctor, That will possibly help put you at some ease, if it is nothing to worry about. I use the Kardia 6L mobile device and it was showing some ectopic message (said to check with my medical provider).
I sent it to my cardiologist to review and he said it was a kind of error related to WIFI (or bluetooth or something like that) ie a false positive
Just knowing things can be better than worrying (hopefully for nothing!)
hoping it is nothing serious, I know this can be scary. take care!
