Lansoprazole

Does anyone find taking Lansoprazole helps with there flutters . I know it's a acid reflux medicine. But sometimes I find it helps.

Some people and I am one of them have cardiac arrhythmia and gastric issues with one exacerbating the other. When my gastric concerns flare they always trigger my heart to misbehave. Opposite to you though PPIs such as Lansoprazole actually made my arrhythmias worse so I had to stop them. Strange isnt it how different we can all be. Best wishes.

Reflux a major afibflutter trigger for me, so I find taking PPI's like Lansoprazole helps.

My acid reflux, along with and perhaps caused by, a small hiatus hernia, seems to be a cause of my palpitations, and perhaps even all of the atrial flutter and fibrillation I have had, too. No one really knows, and the specialist was doubtful, but my GP thinks the link is real. I certainly feel there is a link. I take a similar drug to lansoprazole, daily. If I were you, I wouldn't take it regularly as it can have long term effects in a few and is best reserved for short term use, I feel.
