PS I forgot…

I forgot to mention that last night for the first time I had pains in my heart and kept having to turn over onto my back and then my sides to try and make it feel better for several hours…

I think your heart is protesting at the insults it has been through! Its not much comfort tonight but hopefully in time things will settle down. The visit to the dentist was perhaps the trigger but it doesn't mean the ablation has failed already. Early days....

Hope you feel better soon xx

Hi I had some pains after my ablation too. It was the area around my heart that was irritated by the op. It faded away over a few weeks but finding a comfortable sleeping position was a bit challenging. I slept partially upright on a triangular pillow for a while if that is any help. Hope you feel more comfortable soon.

Many thanks! The pains didn’t come again last night, thank goodness so perhaps my heart was just saying ouch! You had bits burnt off me, then you zapped me with 200 volts!

Give your hospital a call. It's probably nothing but better safe...

Keep a weather eye on them, but if they changed or lessened with movement, they would likely be inflammation that is still slowly settling after the procedure and will soon be a thing of the past.
