Hubby forgot his pills 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

After ablation 3 weeks, high HR last week culminating in cardioversion; he was doing so well with normal HR, sinus rhythm & BP. Then he forgot his pills last night, went into AF overnight, and now has HR of 120. Any suggestions/thoughts will be gratefully received! Our thoughts are to monitor over the weekend, carry on taking things easy & try not to let it consume his thoughts! Oh, and not to forget any more tablets!

I have an alarm set on my mobile phone to remind me to take my evening tablets. What ones is he on?

He also has an alarm set 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Thinking he should set two! He’s on ramipril, Sotalol, lercanidipine, Atorvastatin, doxozosin, Apixaban. HR has come back down, & back in SR. I think missing the tablets didn’t help, but that this may be the way it’s going to be for a while.

I found Mr B was getting in a muddle with his pills and he was only taking two! But both pink……Maybe check yourself - I have had to make a ‘hospital style’ chart now he is taking pain killers as well 😕

Thankyou - I think I just need to ask if he’s taken them, 🤞🤞that will be enough (for now 😂😂😂)

Glad to hear he's back in rhythm. I sometimes turn off my phone alarm when it goes, thinking I'll just watch the end of something on tv.. You can guess what happens next, it goes from my head, so I can understand your husband totally and really can't claim to be the perfect pill taker.

I once went through a spell of forgetting my meds too and it’s annoying.! So I decorated the house with post it notes. there were more notes than wallpaper but it did the trick. After a while it just became a habit to take them👍 I then spent 3 days removing the post it notes,

Try Ramipril 5mg and Metoprolol Succinate 25mg daily after consulting with your physician. They seem to work for me.
