Thanks all for your replies. My af stopped before bed last night, having lasted on and off for 24 hours and having felt worse and more eratic than before. The booster was Pfizer. I shall report on yellow card, thanks. I am now thinking of cancelling the flu jab and won't ever have another covid booster. Although it can't be proven, it was too much of a coincidence. I am going to discuss all with the cardio next week. Thanks again.

Just for balance, I had both jabs at the same time in different arms. No problems have occurred.

I have had AF for 29 years; the first 22 it was paroxysmal. The remaining 7 it's been permanent but asymptotic.

That sounds like too much of a coincidence. However, I had the Covid booster and the flu shot at the same time and did not have any problems. Be well😘

I’ve had 5 Covid jabs plus flu shot annually. Other than stiff arm and, once or twice, a mild fluey feeling that Panadol quickly cleared, I’ve had no side effects. To get balance we need those who have suffered no effects to report here.

I had a covid booster (Pfiezer) at the end of October 2022 and despite only having 2 AF episodes short term (8 hours), prior to it, I then went into permanent AF 2 weeks later in mid November 2022. I am still in AF. I have no doubt at all that the covid jabs had brought on AF from which I had never suffered in the past and then been exacerbated by the boosters. I am also 1 year into physiotherapy because the injection site was incorrect and I have suffered from not only painful arm and neck but all kinds of other symptoms.

I would imagine that after the vaccine that effect would wear off, can't imagine it lasting very long as a stimulant.
